  • Prepare, review and revise compliance-related policies and procedures;
  • Propose a compliance work plan;
  • Complete various compliance according to the requirements and plans of regulatory bodies, head offices and branches, and supervise, rectify and follow up the inspections;
  • According to the annual compliance review plan, complete the compliance review tasks according to the timeline;
  • Cooperate with regulatory bodies, headquarters, internal audits, and external audits, and supervise the implementation of the rectification of audit findings;
  • Communicate with regulatory bodies, headquarters and branches and internal departments to submit related reports and statements;
  • Assist in handling inquiries from regulatory bodies, head offices, internal audits, and external audits;
  • Handle compliance-related applications;
  • Perform monitoring and review related to internal control;
  • Provide compliance advisory;
  • Coordinate with external lawyers;
  • Prepare and implement training plans related to internal control compliance for all employees

 

 

Requirements
 

  • At least 5 years’ banking experience in compliance
  • Degree holder in accounting, business or law
  • Familiar with the requirements and guidelines issued by regulatory bodies
  • Experience in the establishment, implementation and maintenance of internal control framework
  • Excellent Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English skills
  • Experience with regulatory agencies (such as the HKMA) will be an additional advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal relationship, teamwork spirit
  • Responsible, proactive and able to work independently
