II. CORPORATE TREASURY DESK STRATEGIES GROUP

Within Bank Resource Management, Corporate Treasury Desk Strategies Group is part of the Morgan Stanley Strats and Modeling (MSSM) organization, providing analytics support for Corporate Treasury globally.

The main areas of focus of the Desk Strategies Group are: long-term debt issuance and hedging, liquidity management, contingent funding plan, regulatory 5G/LCR reporting, hedge accounting, structured notes issuance, and support of Corporate Treasury trading.

Based in Hong Kong, Corporate Treasury Desk Strategies Group is currently seeking a Vice President to work directly with Corporate Treasury Group in Asia and to specialize in desk strategies and market modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Corporate Treasury Desk Strategies Group with different kinds of complex data analytics
- Actively communicate and collaborate with Corporate Treasury and other key stakeholders within the Firm

Qualifications:


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL-SETS

- PhD or Master’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics or Physics required
- A strong interest in applying Computer Science methods and algorithms to financial markets
- At least five (5) years of work experience in a similar role as a Desk Strategist or Market Modeler in the financial services industry is a must
- Proven programming skills such as programming in Scala, C++ or Q advantageous
- Business-level communication skills in English
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to build cohesive working relationships necessary
