We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Cybersecurity Specialist .

Principal responsibilities

  • Responsible for undertaking application security risk assessments as part of development projects. This entails using a threat modeling methodology to identifying threats which could affect the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the data and components in scope.
  • Working with project managers and development teams to address vulnerabilities identified as early as possible in the project lifecycle.
  • Provide consultancy services to project teams and business owners to identify appropriate information security controls.
  • Work as a Global team and collaborate with Cyber Security colleagues in other regions when undertaking security risk assessments.
  • Manage regular security risk assessment and deliverables complying with global processes.
  • Drive security issues and provide guidance for remediation.
  • Collaborate with IT development teams closely and support secure coding practices adhering to industrial standards and best-practices.
  • Integrate into the development processes, attend project meetings and deliver initial assessment and advices.
  • Provide support for automated application security tooling and ongoing improvement in processes.
  • Oversee effectiveness of controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies and standards.
  • Keep abreast of latest security threats and vulnerabilities in market and analyze the impact to the IT systems and projects.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Degree holder with proven technical expertise in IT ADM, ITID, IT Audit or IT Security.
  • Advanced level of working experiences and exposure to SDLC, Agile and DevOps.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Self motivated, flexible and eager to learn.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese. Mandarin speaker is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications in CISSP or CISA are preferable.
