The job holder will manage the analytics and infrastructure department of the banking group to help the bank in growing their business and market shares in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

  • Steer all data mining and customer analyses activities, including profiling, segmentation, statistical modelling to unveil customer potential and enhance customer value
  • Strengthen analytics capability through the effective adoption of big data and machine learning methodology to deliver high quality customer insights and applications to the business
  • Manage the end-to-end customer targeting and campaign production process for bank’s customer life cycle, sales and marketing activities
  • Manage a robust campaign tracking/ evaluation and MI/reporting function for effective business performance monitoring
  • Oversee data quality management activities through relevant profiling/ analysis, issues identification and orchestration of remediation activities under Group and the Bank’s framework
  • Establish the data management and information infrastructure strategy for efficiency and standardization
  • Oversee and guide the implementation of the data and information solutions for combating financial crime risk
  • Develop and manage an onshore and offshore specialist team to achieve economy of scale

 

Requirements

  • Post graduates or above in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Over 15 years’ experience in the retail business, of which 10 years or more in the financial /banking sector and 8 years in a management position
  • Proven track record and experience in leading analytics development and projects to drive business growth, with profound knowledge and expertise in application of different analytical/ statistical/ machine learning techniques
  • Strong in transforming analytical outputs into business strategies/ applications for the uplift of business value
  • Proven track record in managing different size of teams including onshore and offshore teams
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
