We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Director, Member Services Operations.

Principal responsibilities

  • This is a high profile senior management position accountable for Member Services Operations located in Hong Kong and Guangzhou city site and will be responsible to lead, drive, develop and execute the HSS Member Services Operations strategy for the pension scheme sponsors, scheme employers and members.
  • The role will exclude management of Member Services Client Services activities, employer and member call centre
  • Accurate and timely processing of employer and member pension scheme instructions relating to contributions, terminations, transfers and personal data changes as well as issuing employer and member statements and regulatory and trustee reporting.
  • Operate employer schemes in line with constituent fund documentation, to include scheme prospectus, trust deed, master services agreement, and operating memorandum.
  • Direct engagement and communication with internal and external parties as required to deliver member services.
  • Lead implementation of the strategy and target operating model for member services operations across Hong Kong and city sites to ensure this is applied consistently, leveraging best practice.
  • Manage service delivery BAU operations for member services operations, to include quality and operational risk framework to meet external and internal scorecard objectives
  • Lead development and execution of key external market and internal business initiatives for member services to deliver end state target operating model or solution.
  • Represent member services operations in regulatory, compliance and risk forums that have material impact to operations.
  • Drive efficiencies across member services operations to deliver process efficiencies and standardisation.



  • Extensive working experience in the securities industry including solid knowledge of clients and products across range of securities services
  • Relevant management position with exposure to business partners across multiple geographical locations
  • Solid Fund Administration or Custody experience, focusing on back or middle office is preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of global market infrastructure
  • Solution orientated, high energy characteristics necessary to support HSS business
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver change, within an operational context
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both oral and written
  • University degree level, or equivalent
