We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Finance Manager - Global Finance.

 

Principal Responsibilities   

  • Responsible for local regulatory reporting and Asset Liability Capital Management reporting of Macau.
  • Supervise the Macau local team in preparation of regulatory reports to Local Regulator, review the financial reports prepared by offshore teams for submission to Regional Office.

  • Lead the automation project for local regulatory returns, ensure adherence to project timeline and monitor implementation.
  • Engage in semi-annual financial disclosure, annual publication of statutory accounts, annual audit and tax return submission.
  • Support Financial Controller Macau to maintain a robust financial control environment, including compliance to internal controls over financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and risk management policies.
  • Supervise the local and offshore teams in regulatory and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams in Finance and other businesses or functions to generate desired deliverables.
  • Develop and motivate the team to implement efficiencies across scope of responsibilities.
  • Comply with accounting policies and internal financial control requirements.  
  • Ensure effective and efficient internal processes and operational environment within the team.
  • Mitigate compliance risk and operational loss, ensure accounts are controlled effectively and accounting entries are posted correctly, timely escalation of issues to the attention of senior management

Requirements

  • University graduate with degree in accounting or finance.
  • Extensive years of relevant work experience is required.

  • Professional qualification in accountancy is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Macau banking regulatory requirements and accounting standards is an advantage.

  • Communication in both Chinese and English and interpersonal skills are required.
