The APAC Algorithm Trading team faces off to a wide range of stakeholders covering Equity Cash, Equity Index and Statistical Arbitrage across Asian markets. Our technology platforms help Deutsche Bank deliver best-in-class products to clients. The team is multi-faceted in nature and involves daily interaction with business stakeholders both regionally and globally.
We are currently seeking an experienced C++ developer to join a business aligned development team working directly with front office trading desks. We will look to you to capitalize on new technological trends that can reshape our business and deliver value for our clients, whilst still meeting the demands of regulators and markets. The role involves hands-on development in addition to supporting wider initiatives to modernise and increase agility and automation within the development cycle.
Core Qualifications
Technical Skills

  • Programming languages: C++ (essential), Java (optional), C# (optional)
  • Database: Oracle (desirable), KDB (desirable)
  • Platform: Unix (Linux), Reuters Market Data
  • Middleware: Informatica LBM
  • Experience in application development of
    • Algorithmic Trading strategies,
    • High volume Market Data processing,
    • Order and Trade processing and connectivity using FIX message protocol
      Business Acumen
      • Good understanding of Equity Trading Business
      • Good understanding of the Asian Equity markets, including Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, China, India, Japan and Australia.
        • Good understanding of the Trading floor dynamics and manage the relationship with the Front-office traders.
        • Delivery and result focused, passionate to deliver superb technology solution to enable business initiatives.
        • Ability to work under demanding environment and tight schedule.
        • Strong communication with the ability to coordinate work among internal team members and peer teams.
          • 4-8 year's relevance experience as a software developer on equity trading platforms, with 4+ years in IT in Financial Industry.
