We specialise in foreign exchange, credits and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Global Forex and Commodities Business Manager, Asia Pacific.

Principal responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the Options, Commodities and Global Intermediary Services businesses in Asia Pacific. For Global Intermediary Services, this will directly support the Asia Head. For Options and Commodities, this will support the existing Business Manager.
  • Optimisation and management of the front office and support processes within the product area and the implementation of the change programme to support the Global Business.
  • In conjunction with the Regional Product Heads, the Business Manager is responsible for agreeing and implementing best practice across the region.
  • Support the efficient and smooth running of the day to day business activity of the local product area, including active issue management and resolution.
  • Management and successful execution of developments and enhancements, both business and Information Technology, that are undertaken by the Global product area.
  • Ensure the active execution of the Global and local business strategy and consistency of product delivery across all local sites.
  • Interact with the various functions, both internal and external, that interface to and support the Global and local product area.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • In depth end to end understanding of the Global Markets and Product Area specific business strategy, model and day to day operation.
  • Relevant experience in business management within a markets business.
  • Experience in working with teams, functions and individuals in a global environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Well developed leadership and people management skills, able to drive change and provide positive influence to achieve organisation goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate and work effectively with senior business management across business lines and geographies.
  • Degree holder, preferably with a professional qualification.
