We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Guarding Services Officer, Guarding Services..

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Adequate standard and level of security services are maintained by stopping unauthorized person from entering restricted areas and daily checking of reported in the control room.
  • Achieve the secure movement of cash within or to and from HSBC Premises by supervising and deploying guards to perform the case escort duties for movement of cash.
  • Achieve proper handling of the security equipment and systems by means of maintaining guards awareness levels so that they are adequate to handle the systems or equipment properly and arranging appropriate training.
  • Contributes to the continuing effectiveness of the security system or measures by regularly checking, arranging for maintenance and identifying the existence of any possible weaknesses and recommending ways of improving such.
  • Motivate staff appropriately and maintain high morale by maintaining up to date duty roster, checking them against daily operations and building security requirements and allocating tasks fairly, and by regularly checking uniforms and accouterments worn by guards and effectively using the appraisal system.
  • Contributes to the development of a well trained guard force by conducting and arranging routine training and practices and by briefing them on special matters and instructions.
  • To maintain and develop operation procedures by regularly reviewing and updating response and operational procedures.
  • To perform departmental administrative duties.
  • To perform any other duties as directed by line or senior managers.
