HK Country FP&A – Executive Decision Support Lead, VP
The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi's financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi's current and projected performance.

  • Executive Decision Support covering the overall HK Franchise, including consolidation of HK Country management financials/reporting, analysis and stakeholder communications, covering budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning
  • Ensuring analytical understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet, covering HK GCB and ICG Businesses - developing action plans and business ideas where appropriate
  • Driving analytics process to provide actionable information and insights from a financial forecasting perspective
  • Reviewing monthly financial analyses and variance reports to provide insights
  • Leading/partaking in strategic projects involving financial analyses, insights and strategic planning
  • Driving enhancements across analytics capabilities, and ensuring robust governance and controls on all HK FP&A processes, tools and models
  • Interfacing and leading discussions and actions with stakeholders across the broader Finance function (in Country and Regional FP&A and Controllers), and Country Businesses

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in Banking/Financial Services sectors
  • Understanding/perspective of the Financial Planning and Analysis processes and frameworks
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills to break down and resolve complex issues
  • Strong communication skills to articulate and communicate multi-faceted issues
  • And an ability to build and nurture close relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work through conflicts

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
