Key Accountabilities:

1. Formulate business strategy and development plans to achieve designated business targets, while meeting legal and compliance requirements.
2. Lead insurance sales teams to work with RMs of various business units to develop new business, as well as maintain existing business, in order to achieve designated business targets.
3. Ensure departmental operations are in full compliance with the policies, procedures, regulations, and standards of the Company / Bank and regulatory bodies.
4. Liaise with product providers regarding compensation terms and business cooperation matters.
5. Ensure adequate training is provided to department members and assure them to perform their functions at a professional level, specifically in terms of market practices, product knowledge, and compliance standards.
6. Ensure that the MPF principal intermediary has established and maintain proper controls and procedures for securing compliance with the Conduct Requirements for Mandatory Provident Fund Registered Intermediary and to secure observance by the principal intermediary and its subsidiary intermediaries of the controls and procedures established.

Requirements:

1. Preferably a Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in managerial level in insurance operations and sales management, including 5 years of leadership experience in heading up a team of Business Development Manager.
3. Possess qualifications for relevant insurance licenses registration.
4. Meet the requirement to register as “Responsible Officer” of the company in the Insurance Authority & MPFA in Hong Kong.
5. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
