Our client is a MNC financial technology company. They are looking to hire a Head of client services in Hong Kong to lead settlement operations team in the Asia Pacific region.


Job responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the Operations and Settlements department in the Asia Pacific region
  • Lead and manage the settlement team
  • Ensure all settlement functions are performed properly with accuracy and integrity
  • Review service levels to ensure quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction are up to standard
  • Communicate directly with clients on operational topics, queries and issues management
  • Engage with front office staff within company to deliver a seamless and positive client experience
  • Improve operational procedures and systems, including collaborating with Operations teams around the world on global process improvement
  • Deliver clear requirements to Operations product management group and assist in effective prioritisation of product enhancements
  • Lead projects and assign work load to the team
  • Work closely with senior management to develop strategy to improve operating efficiency and reduce costs

Job requirements:

  • Suitably experienced in institutional equity markets settlement, with Asian experience an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge in market practice, operational control and regulatory requirements related to financial and securities industry
  • A positive and proactive approach to process improvement and change management
  • Excellent people management leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Attention to detail and a customer service attitude
