We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Market Activation, Global Insurance Marketing .

This role is part of the Global Insurance Marketing function which is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of Global Insurance. The function focuses on understanding present and future customer needs and the identification, development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC Life brand. The function supports revenue growth and increase in customer value and satisfaction at both a global and market level.

Principal responsibilities
  • Set the direction and guidance for all country Insurance Marketing teams to ensure that cross channel activation is in line with global brand direction
  • Events Strategy - Creation of overarching strategy that will inform delivery of on-ground customer activation platforms
  • Enable Business Development teams globally with the right marketing collateral and material
  • Work with Sales teams to create digital & offline sales tools
  • Create standards for in-branch and agency collaterals
  • Customer Communication standards including Tone of Voice for collaterals, leaflets, brochures and policy documents.
  • Collaborate with Partner brands (AXA, Allianz and others) to create consistency in Customer Communication and set standards for Partner brands to follow.
  • Strategy, execution, operations, budget analysis and optimisation
  • Partnering with HSBC Life Co Marketing teams and CEOs to deliver results that directly tie into key growth metrics.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent in a business or technical field such as Marketing, Economics
  • Experience in senior management/leadership roles directly accountable for delivering measurable, positive ROI (Return of Investment) against incremental sales, new customer acquisition/activation and Revenue targets.
  • Proven track record in Events Management and creation of Event strategies and execution
  • Expert in planning, managing, optimizing activation budgets in an Insurance context.
  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of Multi-channel communications
  • Adept at creating ROMI models for Sales and Business Development support.
  • Growth-oriented, builder mindset. Love for customer centricity, passionate about identifying opportunities that unlock exponential growth.
  • Strong leadership, crisp communication skills. Ability to present clear, digestible reports and proposals. Comfortable engaging, educating and influencing C-level executives.
  • Self-reliant in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and similar business communication and management tools.
  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills. Able to effectively prioritize simultaneous projects and deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the Insurance Industry is mandatory
  • Willingness to travel frequently across multiple countries.
