The Head of PWM will be responsible for building and scaling the private wealth management franchise for the firm’s Hong Kong office. This is a leadership role requiring a candidate who can bridge Mainland Chinese client networks with Hong Kong’s regulated product platform. The primary mandate is to drive the transition from traditional brokerage-led revenue to fee-based asset management and advisory revenue (AUM-driven), targeting High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) across Greater China.

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Master’s/MBA is highly preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Securities, with at least5 years in a senior leadership capacity (e.g., Desk Head, Team Head, or Department Head) within a Chinese securities firm or a major private bank focused on the Greater China market.
3. Licensing: Must currently hold or be immediately eligible forSFC Responsible Officer (RO) status for Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities); Type 9 (Asset Management) is a strong plus.
4. Language: Native or fluentMandarin is mandatory (for Mainland client coverage). FluentEnglish is required for regulatory and internal reporting.Cantonese is highly advantageous for local market integration.
