We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Head of Sales Management, Asia Pacific. 
 
Principal Responsibilities  
  • Continuously review and seek to improve the multi-channel insurance distribution model and develop growth plans/actions, with a focus on sales and service quality, across all segments, channels, and distribution outlets 
  • Work with Partnerships functions to ensure consistency in sales models and support to contribute to growth agenda, particularly in Protection and Health & Wellness 
  • Introduce, where required, sales process enhancements, and streamlining initiatives to improve customer experience and distribution productivity while maintaining regulatory, compliance, and best-in-class standards
  • Jointly set measurable goals and performance metrics with the various channels to drive delivery of established objectives 
  • Participate in AOP planning, securing buy-in for investment to support insurance distribution processes and streamlining initiatives 
  • Develop and align lead deployment and execution plans with country CRM teams across all channels. Establish a robust tracking discipline to identify impact and redeploy best practices across all global markets * Monitor customer service levels and sales quality output to ensure a superior customer experience and mitigate conduct, reputational, and operational risks  
  • Represent Global Insurance in key channel for global, regional, and country 
  • Design and drive a comprehensive and professional Learning and Development framework to all front-line and sales management aimed at skills and coaching improvements 
  • Create and plan meaningful client and distribution engagement initiatives across all channels including compelling recognition schemes 
  • Track market trends and understand evolving customer demands. Share insights and support the development of plans and strategies for relevant product and customer propositions

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred 
  • Insurance or Banking experience, particularly in distribution channels, products, and sales processes 
  • Effective strategic thinking and problem solving ability, critical analytical thinking; demonstrated experience in translating customer-centric strategies into tangible business results 
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with an ability to develop and deliver executive level materials and presentations in various forums 
  • Experience in global and/or regional roles 
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills developed in Insurance and banking industry within a large financial institution with a demonstrated ability to effectively influence diverse groups without direct management lines 
  • Energetic team player with a positive mindset 
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills 
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Second language a plus
