Our Client is a large global Insurance business. They are hiring an IT Service Manager to manage and develop the Desktop environment, which has a team of 10 helpdesk engineers based in their Hong Kong. The role will require you to manage the team as well as develop the services management process and be a point of contact for the C Suite of executive managers.

About the Role

  • Manage a team of 10 staff members who are responsible for the Desktop/Help Desk
  • Technically develop the capability of the Desktop Support/Services Environment
  • Develop the IT Service processes
  • Train and develop staff capability supporting Office 365
  • Manage the deployment and security of PCs and applications across an enterprise
  • Provide user Support through the use of a Ticketing System, assigning ownership of problem resolution
  • Run and support Active Directory (deployed) synched to Office 365
  • Hands on support the C-Suite of Executive Managers
  • Manage projects and vendors where appropriate

 

About the Person

  • Degree educated in an IT discipline
  • 10+ years’ experience in IT Support within an Infrastructure environment
  • Strong experience of desktop support in multinational environment
  • Experience managing offshore resources
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Symantec enterprise products
  • ITIL Certified and experienced with Zen Desktop
  • Technical SME on Office 365
  • Recently/currently Certified to MCSE / MCSA level in one or more of the following; Messaging, O365, Mobility or Productivity
  • Experience setting up and supporting Video Conferencing
  • Able to track physical assets, software licenses, accessories and consumables via Snipe IT and participate in vendor/product selection and management
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills
  • Fluent in English, (Cantonese is an advantage)
