Our client is a large multinational asset management firm with impressive footprints globally. The firm is currently urgently seeking an Infrastructure Architect to support their multi-years program.

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for the following:-

  • Technical design and implementation of infrastructure technology framework to support the business and infrastructure initiatives across the globe
  • Act as a technical lead on infrastructure related RFI / RFPs, contracts, and scope of work
  • Manage vendors, and negotiate with vendors who provide the cloud platform and services
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders within the regional office, as well as local IT business units within the Asia Pacific region
  • Ensure infrastructure strategy, roadmap, and standards at enterprise level is robust and agile

To be considered for these roles as an Infrastructure Architect, you possess the following:-

  • University degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies on multi-platforms including VMware & Solaris Hypervisor; Windows, Linux & Solaris OS; Microsoft Active Directory & Office 365; IBM WebSphere, Redhat JBoss, SoftwareAG WebMethods middleware; Oracle, Microsoft SQL, DB/2, MySQL & Sybase database. Citrix, VDI, storage & backup technologies, etc.
  • Preferably with experiences on public cloud; Data center network; Global & domestic WAN; Internet gateway and extranet; Web/Application firewalls; Load balancing infrastructure; Forwarding and reverse proxy; DNS, CDN; Unified Communications, Video/Voice conferencing technologies, etc.
  • Ability to drive multiple vendors to support a complex enterprise infrastructure environment
  • Strong project management skills, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
