Our client is a top tier Chinese Sell side platform urgently seeking an experienced Institutional Sales on equities to join their growing platform based in Hong Kong. This position is reporting to the Head of Sales & Trading in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing foreign client coverage on corporate and institutional clients;
  • Develop and maintain cordial working relationships with institutional clients (AM/FM, Fund House, Hedge Funds, PBs, Prop desks as well as Family Offices) in order to explore any business opportunity in HK and foreign markets
  • Participating in exploration and development of equities products for clients, and providing product solutions to clients;
  • Develop new institutional clients in China, Hong Kong and foreign markets
  • At least 5 years relevant experiences in corporate/solution sales function in an investment bank;
  • Cross-bordered (China onshore-offshore) product experience a plus;
  • Develop sales strategy and expand market share with institutional relationships by driving growth across their full product suite

 

Requirements :

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline
  • SFC License Type 1&4
  • Minimum 5-7 years institutional sales or relevant industry experience
  • Good knowledge and experience in capital market activities
  • Strong sales and communication skills
  • Native or fluent in Mandarin, proficient in English, Cantonese would be plus
  • Strong client network
  • Fluent in Mandarin is preferred. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
