International Banking Manager II - Retail Banking and Wealth Management

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior International Banking Centre Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Sits in account opening meetings on a regular basis. Checks every account application form to ensure necessary Know Your Client and Client Due Diligence requirement are compliance before submission.
  • Coach staff to provide consistent high standard of service on customer need approach. Random checks their calls with customers and observes their service at customer meetings. Ensures all agreed Service Level Agreements are met and escalates in timely manner where these may not be met.
  • Closely follow up with offshore support team on inbound account referrals. Provides guidance and advice on Hong Kong account opening. Monitor turnaround time of referrals to ensure good customer experience. Allocates referred customers to Premier Relationship Manager in timely manner once the Hong Kong accounts are opened. Oversees workflows in offshore support team and capacity regularly to ensure efficiency.
  • Raises awareness of our international capabilities to widen referral sources by driving internal and external promotions. Business results from internal briefings, holding external seminars, education exhibitions, is a key focus and will be measured.
  • Keeps close contact with offshore support team and Group offices on any procedural or compliance update related to overseas accounts and mortgages. Constantly reviews workflows and capacity with offshore support team to streamline process and improve the turnaround time.
  • Ensures that all compliance regulations are adhered to with need-based solution, and operational procedures and guidelines are also met in accordance with management direction and Group policy.
  • Conducts regular performance review meeting. Motivates staff by providing necessary support and recognition. Provides guidance and coach staff to ensure they are well equipped for career progression.
  • Organizes regular exchange meetings and team building activities to collect feedback, strengthen working relationship and make a positive working environment.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University degree holder
  • Years of sales and service experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management, preferably with international exposure within years at supervisory level
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Able to manage multi-tasking and committed to meet deadlines
