We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Investment Analyst.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the Global Private Banking Asia Investment Strategy Team to prepare investment analysis, market commentary and value adding investment comments for internal and external clients.
  • Support the Investment Strategy Team to develop regional investment strategies and content of High Conviction Themes across all asset classes.
  • Support the Asia Regional Investment Committee and Weekly Investment Meeting process, responsible for coordination of the content production process of the High Conviction Products.
  • Contribute to investment content creation by leveraging Global Research content to produce investment commentaries and thematic research to meet client needs.
  • Contribute to the production process of investment strategy and thematic reports and client presentations relevant to Asian markets and other investment content under the guidance of senior strategists.
  • Work closely with asset class advisory teams on product narratives and production of product marketing materials.
  • Utilize market data tools including Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters and Datastream to maintain market database in support of the regional investment process.
  • Identify, collect and maintain news flow and market data that have major impact on the High Conviction Solutions, Asian market development and asset classes of significant relevance to the client book.

  • Solid years of experience of investment research experience, preferably in Private Banking and Wealth Management industry.
  • University degree in Business or Finance, Master in Business Administration or Finance degree is an advantage.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst qualification is not mandatory but a merit.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a culturally diverse team and engage in cross-divisional collaboration.
  • Strong quantitative skills with prior experience in maintaining macro and market database.
