Overview One of the top family fund which is based in China would like to expand their footprints in Hong Kong. They are focusing in TMT, Healthcare, Consumer and Finance sectors investments and now seeking for an Investment Manger to work alongside with their CIO which will be based in HK

The firm

Our client partners with world top's asset management firm and dedicates to build a diversified growth portfolio based on global Marco hedging strategy. Their investments expand to businesses across multiple stages and asset classes, including stocks, VE/PE, direct equity investment and bonds


The Role

This post is responsible for supporting the CIO and to get involved in the investment strategy decision making for the fund

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary market research within the TMT, consumer, healthcare and finance sectors
  • Research support for internal equity investments for the fund
  • Build detailed financial models, company analysis and valuations
  • To make investment recommendations base on the researches, monitoring in producing and prepare reports for investments use


The person

This is a position which requires Strong analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with good interpersonal and presentational skills. You are also independent enough to innovate and look for new solutions to existing problems

Education & Experience

  1. A pedigree education in Business, Economics, Finance, Management or related disciplines
  2. Minimum 6 years of solid research experience in the above sectors
  3. Deep understanding of the industry and ideally coming from Hedge Fund environment
  4. Can work independently and report to senior management

Skills & Abilities

  1. An independent individual who can work under a working environment without any close monitoring
  2. Seeing him / herself to be a portfolio manager in the next 5 years and is passionate about the market
  3. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  4. Hardworking, responsible and able to work under pressure
  5. Strong problem solving skills
