We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Investment Project Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • Strengthen the understanding of current investment governance and approval processes, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Review and refine the process, with the objective to have a common global framework for investment approvals.
  • Gatekeeper of investment compliance with Regulatory and HSBC Global Standards.
  • Maintain the summary reference table on Regulatory and HSBC Global Standards requirements relating to Investment.
  • Assist in delivery of global projects to accommodate Regulatory and HSBC Global Standards issues. Support the evaluation, conformance planning, implementation and updates regarding Regulatory and HSBC Global Standards.
  • Build and maintain the global database on invested assets.
  • Support the collation of information and work with stakeholders, eg Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, on analysis regarding investment activities.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University graduate in economics or investment
  • Solid years of experiences in investment industry, with market knowledge and broad exposure to a variety of asset classes
  • Knowledge on investment philosophy, products and financial markets
  • Understanding of insurance principles internationally, including IFRS, Risk Based Capital, Solvency II
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills, able to communicate in a precise and concise way
