Your new company is a market leading, global legal firm who have a strong brand in Hong Kong and within the APAC region. They are seeking a confident, and proactive Manager to manager their L&D team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

Internal leadership programmes

  • Develop and enhance existing and new internal leadership programmes to meet the needs of the employees and partners

Client learning and consultancy

  • Work closely with global L&D and Asia business services and legal teams, create a strategy for engaging the clients through learning opportunities and consultancy
  • Conduct learning needs analyses and spot opportunities to provide value added and chargeable services
  • Build and maintain close relationships with Client Relationship Partners and other stakeholders
  • Measure ROI of client learning to justify time and cost

Digital learning

  • Work closely with the Digital Learning Team, create digital learning content for learning programmes or standalone courses
  • Support the change management process of embedding the global learning platform
  • Constantly seek for opportunities to convert face-to-face learning content into digital learning formats that employees, partners and clients engage with

Coaching, mentoring and sponsorship

  • A member of the global internal coaching faculty, and able to take on several coaching relationships at any one time
  • Project manage Asia coach the coach programmes
  • Develop the 'It takes a village' initiative, ensuring that employees and partners have the opportunity to work with coaches, mentors, reverse mentors or sponsors
  • Work with global Learning & Development to manage the executive coaching pool and oversee the matching process

Diversity & Inclusion

  • Work closely with global D&I team and local HR, help to drive Asia D&I initiatives, particularly around the learning components of Multicultural Inclusion and Health & Wellbeing strategies

Requirements:

  • Tri-lingual speaker (English, Mandarin and ideally Cantonese)
  • Over eight years' experience in a similar L&D role and/or learning consultancy
  • Professional services experience but if not then some service related industry expertise
  • Exceptional presenter and facilitator
  • Experience and technical flair for creating digital learning content
  • Some experience of coaching
  • Experience of consulting with senior stakeholders to scope, design and implement new programmes
  • A willingness to deepen the value of existing programmes through careful planning and process
  • Willingness to travel to Asia offices and further afield as required
