Mission

Based in Hong Kong, the role is part of regional finance team for market activivties, reporting to head of accounting certification & financial supervision sub-team. The role has a focus on

  • Financial supervision of APAC entities
  • Accounting certification of market activities of APAC entities
The role will be working closely with senior legal entity controllers withtin the team, and in collaboration with finance teams in the region, locations, global hubs and central office, as well as with other stakeholders within the bank.




Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervision & oversight of inventory reconciliations and accounting - FO view reconciliation on market activities
  • Closing monitoring : ensuring closing quality in co-ordination with all stakeholders involved
  • Control framework monitoring : ensuring sound application of finance control framework in co-ordination with all stakeholders
  • Transversal finance process : FX monitoring, audit co-ordination, providing finance expertise on transversal projects


Profile

Requirement

  • Top-level school, Accounting qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years relevent experience (financial control / audit on global market activities entities)
  • Understanding of global market activities, its product detail & strategies, and its implication into accounting & financial control framework
  • Understanding of investment bank major divisions role & responsibility (FO, middle/back office, risk management, etc)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Pro-active, autonomous, rigor, a strong control mindset
  • Organizational skills (planning & prioritization skills) & ability to work under pressure
