Work you’ll do:

  • Apply knowledge of the operational and commercial due diligence process and protocol to evaluate potential transactions
  • Use specialized transactional knowledge to advises clients
  • Apply financial knowledge to inform strategic and operational decisions to produce value out of the deal
  • Apply skills in M&A strategy, synergy identification and capture, Day 1 planning, execution, Transition Services Agreement (TSA) development and monitoring, integration / separation management, and JV setup to advise client throughout the M&A lifecycle
  • Apply experience in IT application architecture, design, configuration, system integration maintenance, and IT infrastructure to advise clients on IT due diligence, pertinent IT integration issues, IT transition services, ERP and business application migration
  • Plan and execute a project to deliver a superior client experience
  • Comprehend how the client’s business works and keep up-to-date on industry/sector trends and leading practices
  • Identify and solve problems objectively using analysis, experience and judgment
  • Identify and transform opportunities into solutions that drive business value for our clients
  • Incorporate financial information when evaluating business opportunities and making recommendations
  • Develop relationships, establish credibility with and instill confidence in clients
  • Leverage cross-geography insights and practitioners to enhance client service delivery
  • Articulate how technology enables and differentiates the business and communicate this effectively to clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in finance, accounting, financial engineering, management, related disciplines
  • Excellent command on core consulting skills including structured problem solving, delivery (incl. PPT, Word, and Excel modeling), communication, negotiation and consultative selling
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in global consulting firm / in-house roles with a focus on M&A strategy, due diligence and transaction readiness, integration and separation management; or experience in IT application architecture, design, configuration, system integration maintenance, and IT infrastructure for client advisory on IT due diligence, IT integration and business application migration
  • Solid project delivery experience; having successfully managed or led complex, multi-function/multi-stakeholder projects in a large corporate environment
  • Strong commitment to firm compliance, ethics, and quality standards
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high commitment to quality client service
  • Strong track-record in effectively developing market credibility in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to motivate and lead a team with enthusiasm, drive and effectiveness
  • Outgoing character. Strong sense in business development is required. Proven track record in business development activities is a definite advantage
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is mandatory
