We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Business Planning and Analysis .

Principal responsibilities

  • Join a team of professions in the Retail Banking and Wealth Management Business Finance in Asia to support the business.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis on business and financial trends, identify issues, and discuss with relevant business and functional teams.
  • Lead in Group Retail Banking and Wealth Management and Group Finance priorities, such as development of forecasts annual business plans and monthly estimate, segment, channel Profit and Lost as well as identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Execute, review and documentation controls of Retail Banking and Wealth Management forecasting models.
  • Support the review and analyze implications on changes in Assets and Liabilities Committee policies such as interest rate and liquidity premium on product margins.
  • Assess business cases, financial assumptions and provide recommendations where appropriate.
  • Share best practices and experiences on business reporting and analysis with counterparts across Asia Pacific.
  • Manage and review Finance offshore team deliverables as well as coordinate these deliverables to meet the agreed time line.
  • Liaise with Retail Banking and Wealth Management teams and country, regional, global Business Finance counterparts and ensuring their understanding of the standardized MI policies and adopting best practice MI process across Asia Pacific.
  • Be able to embrace team objectives and drive for teamwork and outstanding team performance with exceptional relationship skills from working closely with the various country and regional stakeholders.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University level degree in a finance ore a related discipline preferred.
  • The prospective candidate should have a proven track record in finance business support with practical experience and knowledge of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management businesses and HSBC reporting systems.
  • Able to work under time pressure in meeting very tight deadlines.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide array of stakeholders.
