We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Business Process Design .

Principal responsibilities

  • Primarily focus on the design and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities across Service Delivery with deep specialisation in one or two product areas within Service Delivery.
  • Promote global and regional process and operating model standardisation, drive consistency and efficiency as well as reducing operational risk within Service Delivery. In this capacity the role acts as an extension to the service delivery operations and will be an integral part to embed a continuous improvement culture across the functional areas.
  • Define operations best practices and to progress the implementation of operating model and process changes.
  • Advise functional teams on the optimum usage of existing and future processes, organisation structures and supporting technology.
  • Define team structures and responsibilities, standard processes and determine automation opportunities on a pro active basis.
  • The incumbent will be part of a small team that acts as the main point of contact for relevant incoming initiatives associated with all types of change, including but not limited to regulatory, risk, client driven change.
  • Implement solutions to support changes in operational processes, support new business opportunities and product development across HSS Operations locations
  • Support the execution of strategic projects that will directly impact the Service Delivery operations.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Strong operational experience in the financial services industry working directly on one or more of the functional areas of Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Member Services, Global Custody, Treasury, Investment Operations, Middle Office and Shared Operations Services
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the technology and systems supporting the functional areas preferably with specific experience of the key applications used in the respective functional areas
  • Advocate for change with a focus on execution
  • Strong organization, multi tasking and time management skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal, collaborative and relationship building skills
  • Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing, with developing presentation skills
  • Preferably some experience in delivering and executing small, incremental change in business operations
  • Process design and continuous improvement experience advantageous
