We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Derivatives Management .

Principal responsibilities

  • Responsible to support and manage the derivatives transaction processing across Hong Kong Investment Operations Middle Office Clients. Role will encompasses key processes and controls across a variety of Derivative products from Exchange Traded Derivatives to Over the Counter Derivatives and Contract for different products.
  • Trade matching and margin management for Exchange Traded Derivatives products, as well as dealing with client and broker queries in a professional and timely manner. Over the Counter Derivatives duties include trade confirmation, lifecycle event management and analysis of complex data exceptions.
  • Require to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and present any required reports and presentations.
  • Represent Securities Services Investment Operations to participate in various projects that require derivatives expertise, be the key co coordinator facing Securities Services stakeholder project teams to progress operational service model with procedures governing the workflow.
  • Supports securities trade matching and collateral management services as part of Securities Services Middle Office service offering. Will be cross trained to provide daily and supervisory support for these processes.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of derivatives products gained within the Investment Bank, Fund Services Industry, with exposure to Exchange Traded Derivatives and Over the Counter markets
  • Previous working experience in, Middle Office, Trade or Settlement functions, Collateral Management and other derivative related functions would be beneficial
  • Previous working experience in Derivatives Management or understanding of Over the Counter clearing is an advantage
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or people management role
  • Previous experience in building out new processes, implementing change or client onboarding preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for building relationships with both internal and external parties
  • Knowledge of market platforms including MarkitSERV, Bloomberg would be an advantage
