Manager, Product Strategy and Management

•\tResponsible for the product implementation of product initiatives to meet company's business goals
•\tAct as system owner to manage Proposal Generation System (PGS)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • L ead and implement ad-hoc projects and / or strategic initiatives related to product management and /or product implementation as assigned from time to time
  • M anage the overall product implementation schedule and ensure timely product delivery as per timeline assigned by management
  • Manage the delivery of PGS for proposal illustration and its revamp and act as primary trainer on PGS User Acceptance Test (UAT) to department members
  • Conduct and review the UAT for different systems, such as Proposal Generation System (PGS), to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives
  • Coordinate with Operations, IT, Partnership Distribution and other departments to ensure the effectiveness of hosting the Product Implementation Taskforce (PIT) meeting and PGS meeting
  • Act as PIT secretary to maintain proper record of the meeting materials, agenda items and meeting minutes for PIT meeting
  • Review the BR and test plan of PGS, manage the UAT resources for PGS to ensure to UAT results are in good quality and meet the expected results proposed by Product Managers

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • University/College graduate with over 6 years of working experience in implementation process of insurance company
  • Exposure in implementation of insurance product development is preferred
  • Strong project management skill is required with experience in managing UAT process is a plus
  • Team player with initiative, positive attitude and good interpersonal skill
  • Creativity with innovative thinking and customers-oriented mind-set
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with business sense
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
