Job Description Summary The Associate, Marketing will support the Head of Marketing Financials (Director) in Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. He/she will be responsible for working with assigned product leads & sales and account management in the Economics and PMI space, same time support the development and execution of marketing plans, event logistics and tactics across business lines – where applicable . A strong marketing generalist, the individual will contribute to the successful execution and follow up of multi-touch campaigns.

The Marketing team is responsible for developing and managing marketing strategy, brand awareness and lead generation activity across all products, regions and functions. This includes the delivery of sales and product support.


Position summary

The Associate, Marketing for PMI and ECR – Asia Pacific,is a back fill positions and will support the Head of Marketing Financials (Director) in Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong.  He/she will be responsible for working with assigned product leads & sales and account management in the Economics and PMI space, same time support the development and execution of marketing plans, event logistics and tactics across business lines – where applicable   . A strong marketing generalist, the individual will contribute to the successful execution and follow up of multi-touch campaigns.   

Duties & accountabilities

  • Lead generation
    • Track and report on the performance of all  tactics and campaigns using Salesforce dashboards and other metrics
    • Work with product marketing, product and sales to ensure campaigns are optimized and delivering on objectives

 

  • Content marketing
    • Proof copy, edit and re-write copy to make it suitable for multiple delivery channels in Chinese and English
    • Identify channels and distribution opportunities
    • Manage the development of digital campaign assets using Eloqua, Pardot and other tools
    • Help with onboarding team with video technology and webinars etc

 

  • Events
    • Support the development and execution of trade shows and hosted events
    • Order premiums help with design work on production of assets
    • Deploy a multi- touch strategy on event pre and post
    • Manage the promotion, invitation, production, logistics and event follow up process
    • Manage event budgets and expense tracking
  • Proactively partner with internal cross functional teams and outside vendors including marketing operations, creative services, central events, and social media.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (salesforce.com and Eloqua preferred).  Also knowledge of using video and webinars

 


Business competencies

Education and experience

Knowledge of the financial services industry preferred with fintech and information vendor/provider

3-5+ years of experience with a BA, BS or equivalent

Outstanding written and spoken English, Mandarin

 Traditional Chinese is also preferred but not a pre-requisite

Extensive working knowledge of power-point, and excel

Familiar with working in a matrix organisation in a global exposed role

Commercial awareness

Good understanding of global financial markets, current issues and competitive landscape

Ability to negotiate contracts and foster relationships with key suppliers
