Our client is a looking for a high calibre candidate to join them as Officer, HR Shared Services.


  • Manage the data for global HR System and payroll system
  • Responsible for administering daily HK payroll and benefits operations, including payroll, MPF, life and medical insurance and leave management
  • Process payroll, tax filing and cost charging
  • Process benefits transactions for enrolment, termination and employee status changes
  • Update leave applications and provide leave reports
  • Prepare monthly HR related statistics and reports
  • Provide necessary support to HR partners that are within the scope of HR Shared Services SLA
  • Answer enquiries on payroll and benefits; develop communications for payroll and related services
  • Manage the HR Business Contingency Plan to ensure no interruption of critical payroll function
  • Ensure adequate policies, procedures and process controls are in place, maintained, and monitored to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Support payroll-related projects to improve process efficiencies
  • Support Annual Review, Financial Planning and Group Benefits Plan renewal
  • Support survey data submission and consolidate compensation analytical reports
  • Support the implementation of various HR programs and initiatives including process, operational efficiency review, etc.
  • Support in driving future process and system enhancements for the Asia region



  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines and/or banking experience is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of solid experience in payroll and benefit administration in a sizable organization.  Prior experience working within HR Shared Services model preferred
  • Ability to evaluate, recommend and implement new processes and technologies for operational efficiency
  • Well versed in HK Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations and other statutory ordinances, experience with multi-country payroll is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Proficient in global HR system (e.g. PeopleSoft) and payroll systems with experience in administering Employee Self-Service (eLeave, ePayslip etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to resolve issues, think critically and make effective decisions
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
