We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Regional Processing.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide settlement support for assigned products, monitor failed trades, exceptional and unreconciled items
  • Provide assistance in supervising the team's daily operations
  • Ensure that daily fail trade matters and unmatched reports are followed through to resolution
  • Monitor and follow up on failed trades to achieve high settlement efficiency
  • Investigate discrepancies in trade details with traders, relevant operations teams and counterparties to avoid operation loss
  • Participate in user acceptance tests for new products and system
  • Provide back up support for other peers groups within Regional Operations centre
  • Follow up independently with broker or related parties for amendment or non-receipt of trade confirmation
  • Reply and attend to enquiries, feedback for internal and external clients
  • Perform team assigned work on time and effectively
  • Contribute towards the development and performance of the team


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Solid experience in securities and investment industry
  • Undergraduate or post graduate degree holder
  • Familiar with SWIFT and knowledge of operation of Euro clear and Brown Brothers Harriman system
  • Able to work independently and flexibly to meet tight deadline
  • Good judgment and decision making skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
