Operation Manager, Asset Management (Fund)

Job Descriptions

• Perform fund operation work including NAV calculation, trade settlement, cash and positions reconciliation, payment arrangement, reporting, subscription/ redemption handling
• Monitor day-to-day fund administration including liaison with fund administrator, prime brokerage, and vendors etc. regarding operations
• Assist in new fund setup (if necessary), communicate and build long relationship with lawyer and other service providers, review and comment on constituent fund documents
• Assist in KYC, AML and CFT functions, perform investor due diligence and compliance monitoring in asset management(if necessary)
• Responsible for regulatory compliance audit, tax filing and assist in audit planning and preparation of annual audited financial statements
• Other ad hoc projects/ tasks directed by supervisors, include but not limited to account opening and maintenance work

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or above
• A least 3 years of fund operations experience in asset management firms or equivalent, candidate with less experience will be considered as junior position
• Familiar with regulatory and compliance matters relating to Type 4 and 9 licenses in Hong Kong is a must
• Solid knowledge of SFC, CIMA, and other relevant authorities’ regulations, procedures and guidelines
• Detail-minded, intellectual curiosity, self-motivated and a good team player
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
