We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Operations Assistant, Main Treasury.

Principal responsibilities

  • To provide general administration services to various departments of Main Treasury
  • To handle cash discrepancies discovered by departments, banks, branches and companies which includes the processes of data input, vouchers preparation, account entries posting, records keeping and follow up outstanding cases
  • To handle verification of notes, coins and foreign currency notes received from branches and customers and prepare relevant statistics
  • To place purchase orders and keep detailed records and contracts of all fixtures, fittings, machines and equipment and be responsible for preparing orders for repairs and preventive maintenance services
  • To order, distribute, keep stock and record for stationery and staff uniforms
  • To handle commission received from banks, companies and Hong Kong Monterey Authority
  • To check Charges Reports and Cost Centre Reports and settle invoice payments
  • To deal with matters relating to Flag Day collection and counting service
  • To deal with storage, destruction and collection of old records and keep records of duplicate keys
  • To support and coordinate all staff engagement activities
  • To carry out clerical duties as and when required by supervisor

  • Proven experience in general office administration
  • Good knowledge on credit and book keeping
  • Good interpersonal skills and good team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in computer and Microsoft Office
  • The position will be based in the HSBC Kowloon Bay office. Shift duty, and working on Saturdays would be required

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
