An international private wealth management firm is looking for an outstanding candidate to join as Private Wealth Business Development - Senior Manager / Manager. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international private wealth management firm which provides services to private clients. With a determination to boost their client base across the Asia Pacific Region, they now invite an outstanding candidate to join them.
Based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for referrals to Canada. You will refer high net worth clients who have affiliations with Canada through immigration or investments to the office in Canada. The Business Unit will leverage the products and existing platforms to introduce an integrated offering of banking, life insurance, wealth management products and services to HNW clients. The primary focus will be building relationships with selected agents and driving client referrals. This role will work with agents to identify suitable clients and assess their needs, then refer the clients to Canadian office to close the sale. The Business Development Manager will manage relationships with agents and meet with their prospective clients to introduce the products and services. Responsible for developing relationships with the agents, centers of influence and other networks. A portion of the time will be devoted to educating agents, developing awareness and showcasing the capabilities. Identify participations and sponsorship opportunities that will position in the high net worth segment.
To be considered, you should be university graduate with 5 to 10 years of related experience in Asia & Canada, ideally in the high net worth segment. Proven record in building a book of business. Knowledge and expertise in financial planning, investment management, banking and trust. Ability to develop, organize and deliver proposals and client needs assessment and analysis. In-depth knowledge of the sales process. Be familiar with the Hong Kong and China financial sectors and regulatory requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
