We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Platform Operations Support Engineer.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support a team with full responsibility for of the Digital Platform
  • Responsible for rebuilding the consumer facing digital products, from mobile banking to credit card applications
  • Ensure the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction for all digital projects or platforms
  • Work as part of a global Operations team working in a follow the sun support model with teams based in London, India, Hong Kong and the United States.
  • Provide global support for the Digital platform working incident tickets for issues with the tools that make up a platform that our developers use to deploy micro services to the customer website or applications.

  • Solid technical background
  • Experience in micro services architecture and engineering
  • Have a detailed knowledge of deployment, automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools such as Jenkins, Cloud Foundry, AppDynamics
  • Experience in highly available, highly scalable architectures
  • Have experience designing and building in the cloud, ideally AWS or Azure
  • Exposure to emerging technologies in Cloud and Mobile space is desirable
  • Proven track record in leading technology evaluation and adoption
  • Be comfortable working within an agile, multidisciplinary team.
  • Be a clear communicator, convey your thoughts, ideas and opinions clearly and concisely face to face or virtually to all levels up and down stream
  • Influence and champion new ideas and methods
  • Be inquisitive, and want to solve interesting problems
  • Be prepared to challenge the status quo and always be pushing for smarter ways of working
  • Be flexible under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
