Deutsche Bank's Global Prime Finance business delivers innovative trading and financing solutions to the world's largest and most sophisticated hedge funds and institutions. To accomplish this we are constantly striving to build technology platforms that execute low-latency orders, optimize inventory management, automate trade lifecycle and manage risk in real-time.

What you'll do
We are looking for passionate engineers that are excited by technical challenges and the opportunity to drive real impact to the business.
As an experienced engineer you will develop our next generation Stock Loan inventory management platforms. The role involves dealing with challenges of optimizing large data sets and integration with our low latency trading platforms.
You will enjoy hands-on development, and champion efforts to increase agility and automation within development cycle.
You will collaborate with trading desks in identifying and building solutions that streamline workflows and scale businesses.
Who you are:

  • Have excellent knowledge of core Java, demonstrated through 8+ years' experience
  • Drive TDD and BDD engineering techniques
  • Experience of enterprise java concepts such as JMS, EJB and transaction management
  • Experience with relational database platforms and concepts ideally with performance tuning and schema design experience
  • UNIX-Linux experience including shell-perl scripting and understanding of fundamental UNIX environmental concepts
  • Excellent communicator who is excited to collaborate with teams in other locations to build a true global team for the platform.
    Desirable:
    • Prior experience developing UI in C# and HTML5
    • Prior experience in agile transformation of development
    • Prior experience within Investment Banking - Equities and Prime Finance
