Private Equity Investment Analyst

We are seeking to recruit a full-time Private Equity Investment Analyst in our Hong Kong office; a self-motivated individual, with an entrepreneurial mindset to capture the growing deal flows and opportunities in Pan Asia. The Analyst will have a wide exposure in deal sourcing, screening and selection, execution and portfolio management early in his/her career. The role will report to the Portfolio Manager and the Chief Investment Officer.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct business, accounting, investment due diligence and analysis
  • Prepare presentations and reports for ACE’s Investment Committee and investors
  • Support team members throughout the investment process (e.g. sourcing, analyzing, selection, execution, closing, monitoring and supporting due diligence)
  • Coordinate third party due diligence efforts
  • Monitor existing portfolio companies and analyze performance of overall program
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a deal-focused capacity in investment banking, private equity, asset management, buyside/sellside research or management consulting
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge Excel, Powerpoint and financial modeling applications
  • Business acumen, solid quantitative and analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Efficently plan and organize own workload with tight dealines
  • Self-motivated, focused, fast learner and eager to partner with colleagues
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set
