We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Product Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide professional advice and execute Funds and Exchanged Traded Funds ETFs related services to high new worth clients through Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors and to increase the Bank's activity, market share and profitability
  • Support Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors penetration into Funds and ETFs through an understanding their clients' investment objectives and recommending Funds and ETFs to meet their requirements
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis and recommendations on new investment opportunities through Funds and ETFs
  • Maintain consistently professional and high quality services of the Funds Team
  • Improve cost efficiency by rationalising processes and minimise exposure to losses
  • Ensure full compliance with the Bank's policy, standards, guidelines and procedures and the code and ordinance laid down by the Government and regulatory authorities, particularly those applicable to product due diligence, suitability and course of selling
  • Provide marketing and aftersales infrastructure to support Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors' information needs
  • Timely monitoring and updates on the performance of existing Funds and ETFs to help Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors' to ensure their clients investment expectations and goals are on track
  • Work closely with asset managers, both external and internal, to improve marketing and aftersales
  • Arrange and prepare regular investment presentation to Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors for market and portfolio update
  • Provide training for Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to ensure their knowledge and understanding of Funds and ETFs
  • Work closely with other specialists to ensure timeliness, consistency and coordination in the delivery of Funds and ETFs related materials and information
  • Share best practices with teammates to bring team to higher level
  • Streamline workflow to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure that daily operations are in compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.

  • ​Bachelor Degree or above in Finance, Economics and Accounting
  • Client oriented with good communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record in providing advisory or solutions with in-depth exposure to Funds and Exchanged Traded Funds
  • Possess strong market update and intelligence
  • Independent, able to work under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft skills
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English and Chinese, including Mandarin
