The role is based on-site with our client, a reputable global bank with a strong presence in Asia Pacific. They are looking for a Project Manager to join the team.

The Role Responsibilities

  • Capture and document requirements from multiple stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a project management scope of work.
  • Plan project delivery with the project team members.
  • Develop project and maintain project documentation such as logs to capture and track risks, issues, lessons learned etc.
  • Including scope of work, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage the project budget.
  • Schedule and run meetings as required with well-defined agendas and documented minutes.
  • Identify risk and develop/implement mitigation plans.
  • Document any identified required changes and communicate them to the relevant parties.
  • Manage stakeholder communication.
  • Provide status reporting to senior management against milestones & budget, including any issues or risks identified
  • Ensure internal process, standards and risk compliance (including security, regulatory and audit requirements) are met
  • Drive stakeholders to deliver to the project plan, within scope, on time and to budget.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Ensure systems such as “Clarity” are up to date including Project static data, status update including RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts.
  • Ensuring that all submissions to committees (PED, Red packs, Closure Reports, etc.) are of the right quality and are timely.
  • Delivering the Project’s products and processes into BAU.

 

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in delivering projects in the Banking industry.
  • Experience delivering IT projects.
  • Experience managing vendors.
  • Experience with network related projects advantageous.
  • Experience with network security projects advantageous.
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple projects and/or significant streams of work.
  • Proven experience with co-ordination multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment.
  • Stakeholder management experience working with senior level stakeholders to deliver change.
  • Rigorous approach to management of project delivery methodology.
  • Proven skills in coordination, staff management, and leadership working with vendors and internal teams.
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills which lend themselves to team-oriented approach and able to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual
  • Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community.
