PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to provide project management service and business analysis support on key regional Finance projects and lead the Finance aspects of strategic new business initiatives which impact APAC Finance.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide project management execution for Finance Change projects
  • Development of Finance project plan
  • Coordinating the completion of high level solution design for approval by stakeholders
  • Overseeing the implementation of the agreed solution
  • Ensuring the completion of test strategies and test cases
  • Coordinating the completion of all testing cycles including: System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Management of Finance working groups
  • Preparation and management of Steering Committee meetings
  • Escalation of issues to project sponsor / steering committee
  • Ensure adequate ongoing communication with stakeholders, including weekly project status dashboard reporting to Finance working groups
  • Provide regular updates on progress to key stakeholders and senior Finance management (both verbal and written)


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years working in a similar role
  • Experience in Finance functions
  • Project Management experience from project inception through to delivery in a multi-project environment
  • Experience in a complex, multi-entity, system & regulatory projects
  • CA / CPA
  • Knowledge of accounting policies / standards
  • Knowledge of banking supervision laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of APAC regulatory requirements
