An established and expanding family office is looking to fill a few positions: 1) Quantitative and Risk Analyst, and 2) FX Trader. The new members will be part of a small, entrepreneurial, and energetic team with lots of exposure and responsibility. Potential for a career with long term incentive after long term service.

 

ORGANIZATION

Classica Capital was founded to manage the wealth of a Hong Kong family, a successful entrepreneurial family.  The firm invests in a multitude of asset classes ranging from fixed income and equity to FX and alternative investments.

 

QUANTITATIVE and RISK ANALYST

As part of a small, entrepreneurial, and energetic team, the position reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer and entails working closely with other members of the team.  The analyst will be primarily engaged in quantitative investment research and portfolio risk mangement/system development.  In addition, the analyst is expected to assist/lead other activities as it arises.  Ability to learn fast and a relentless attitude are critical to success in this position.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- 3+ years of quantitative research experience in a hedge fund or portfolio risk management development experience with an institutional investor

- strong programming and modeling skills

- advanced degree in math, science, engineering, or finance.

 

FX Trader

As part of a small, entrepreneurial, and energetic team, the position reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer and entails working closely with other members of the team.  The FX Trader is expected to manage a FX sub portfolio within a short period of time to directly contribute to the P&L of the portfolio.  Strong understanding of the macro environment and market sense as well as a stable and sensible personality is critical to success of this position.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- 3+ years of FX trading experience whether in a PM role or supporting analyst role.

- working knowledge of FX investment products including forwards and options.

- bachelors degree.

 

SALARY

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s experience and skills.
