Relationship Manager - Lending Team - Commercial Banking

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager - Lending Team.

Principal Responsibilities 

  • Manage an assigned borrowing and trade portfolio of Business Banking customers by effectively managing, developing, and retaining quality business relationships
  • Protect the bank’s assets and reputation by knowing the customer and their business, monitoring for suspicious behaviour, and taking appropriate action as set forth in operating policies when necessary
  • The job holder is expected to manage a portfolio of 100-120 relationships with total facility limit of around HKD100-200M
  • Accountable for end to end credit assessment applications and support for Relationship Managers including but not limited to basic lending products such as mortgage, insurance premium finance, equipment finance, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years proven and progressive business development and credit experience or equivalent, including extensive knowledge and proven sales success with the Bank’s products and services
  • Ability to identify, analyse, and communicate customer requirements; effectively deliver creative and flexible customer solutions
  • Participation in appropriate training and/or work equivalency (i.e. credit, products, B2B selling, etc.)
  • Highly independent with organisational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to manage credit risks and to meet Global Standards
  • Ability to manage a variety of assignments simultaneously
  • Required to obtain professional qualifications in insurance and investment
