Our client is an established asset management house renowned for its diversified investment management services and products to high net worth individuals, financial intermediaries and institutional clients.  They are now seeking for top calibre candidates to join them in Hong Kong.

Working in partnership with the Sales team and in-country client services team in key markets in the APAC region, and part of the Regional Client Services team which provides centralized services to the institutional business within the region. Responsible to handhold the account managers to ensure all such issues and queries received are answered and acts as an escalation point to resolve complex issues. The role is also responsible for analysing and improving related workflows and processes to capture efficiency gains and improve the Institutional client experience. Act as an escalation point and expertise for operational matters; assist in-country managers toto resolve complex/unique operational related client issues on a timely basis. Working directly with clients to ensure timely and accurate completion of all such client questions and requests. Act as a conduit for complex issues to build strong relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners. Oversee and support all Institutional client events and related activities, working with the relevant in-country managers to ensure client expectations are met. Assist in-country managers with reviewing, actioning, and processing of Investment Management Agreements and general contract revisions ensuring all relevant internal departments are updated and provide sign-off on changes, manage related questions and provide resolutions as appropriate. Undertake an annual review for institutional separate account clients. Ensure KYC, AML and ASL documentation is collated and processed correctly on a timely basis. Act as the clients' advocate in interactions with other internal business units. Regularly monitor breaches at the regional level and to identify error trends and process deficiencies to reduce operational risks. Maintain a region-wide schedule of fees due, dispatch invoices on time and ensure any payment delinquencies have been successfully resolved by interacting with clients. In charge of client meeting books delivery for the region by working with the reporting team. Maintain responsibility for a defined set of internal operational procedures.

To be considered, you will hold a University degree with at least 10 years’ experience servicing Asia institutional clients within investment management. Strong knowledge on how segregated mandates operate throughout the different stage of a client life cycle from account launch, ongoing client servicing and account terminations. Experience in working with stakeholders including sales team, legal and compliance, back-office operations, reporting team, investment & product teams in oversea offices. Analytical skills to investigate and resolve complex client issues. Excellent communication skills. Good organization skills and able to work under pressure and meet tight delivery deadlines. Fluency in a Mandarin and written Chinese.
