The Credit & Control Section within Hong Kong Corporate Banking Department 3 (in short, HKCBD3) is responsible for the credit risk analysis and control of the China corporate banking customer portfolios and related mitigation including credit application, rating application preparation, monitoring of the customer credit performance, etc. The Section’s role is crucial in supporting the Corporate Banking Department to achieve its business target and comply with regulatory requirements.

Role requirements

1.  To follow the policy and direction of the Department/ Section and to assist superiors in accomplishing Department’s/ Section’s overall duties and responsibilities at all times

2.  To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Sections within HKCBD3, including but not limited to:

  • Arrange or schedule appointments, meetings, luncheons and dinner
  • Arrange business trip booking (including air tickets, hotels and transportation)
  • Handle entertainment, business trip and transportation expenses
  • Manage and handle internal application/ document circulation
  • Handle telephone calls
  • Organize filing records
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative work

3.  To perform any other duties as assigned by superiors

Essential Functions

  • To provide maternity leave secretary cover for HKCBD3 from June to December 2020 in ensuring its smooth internal operation
  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to Relationship Managers of HKCBD3
  • To provide administrative support to superiors of Credit & Control Section

Competencies

Work experience, education and skills

  • Higher diploma/ associate’s degree or above
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in secretary or office administration
  • Possesses friendly and positive characters; able to multi-task; able to work independently with minimum supervision; willing to learn
  • Good command of PC skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin; Japanese skills are a plus
