The Systematic Market Making (SMM) desk in Hong Kong is looking for an Associate / Junior VP level electronic trader with a core focus on FX, who is interested in growing their expertise to include Commodities & Rates products. The desk in Hong Kong works closely with our counterparts in New York and London and also with our Sales, Engineering and Technology teams across all regions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Risk managing our G10, EM and NDF electronic FX spot and forward flow during Asia hours.
  • Diligently managing all operational duties that go hand in hand with our risk management.
  • Overseeing all relevant risk, pricing, orders, execution and networking systems.
  • Systematically analysing client flow and market dynamics to optimize our pricing and hedging algorithms to achieve our risk management, PnL and market share targets, while ensuring an excellent client experience.
  • Work closely with Sales and Clients to grow our Asian electronic FICC franchise.

  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
  • At least 2 - 3 years of relevant electronic trading experience
  • Experience in analyzing large data sets
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive and aware of what is going on in the Markets
  • Solid work ethics and high levels of motivation
  • Ability to multitask and quickly analyze information to make decisions
  • Hard working and strong willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
