Senior Associate, Customer Service Officer (Payment and Cash Management)


SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Société Générale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia. SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.

Part of the Global Transaction Banking business line, Customer Service Officers are customer-facing roles within the Payment and Cash Management department.

They play a key role in dealing with the day-to-day clearing and customer queries and delivering a high quality service. This requires a dynamic and flexible approach to deal with a range of tasks that arise whilst ensuring customer comes first.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer account enquiries
  • Support of Sales activity
  • Data administration
  • Customer on-boarding and account closure
  • Customer billing and invoicing
  • Support HKD clearing and international payments
  • Support and promote Cash Management products and services including drafting of contracts to implementation

  • A Levels or equivalent

Past Experience

  • HK clearing bank Customer Service or Cash Management / Transaction Banking support role
  • Commercial Banking experience linked to Corporates servicing
  • Experience in international payments (SWIFT network and message types) and understanding of HK clearing and settlement systems (RTGS, Direct Debits, etc.) is critical

  • Fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese, Mandarin
  • Other foreign language skills would be advantageous
Technical Skills

  • Candidate should be computer literate
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
