We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Branch Financial Crime Program Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Drive and manage all on the ground implementation tasks of Financial Crime Compliance initiatives for retail distribution and ensure a timely and proper launch of activities concerned
  • Conduct post launch review of projects and initiatives concerned and drive post launch enhancement work
  • Ensure the operational efficiency of all Financial Crime Compliance related procedures and processes of branch and recommend enhancement, streamlining and automation as required on an on going basis.
  • Contribute to embed Global Standards and build a financial crime risk culture in retail distribution
  • Plan the implementation tasks concerned for front line and gain support of local management to ensure the launches of new initiatives
  • Ensure front line staff are equipped with essential knowledge and technical support for implementing projects and initiatives concerned
  • Manage and review front line feedback via exchange and other communications platform on Financial Crime Compliance initiatives and recommend enhancement or solutions to address issues identified.
  • Lead the team to deliver the assigned goals and measures by fostering team work and building a recognition culture
  • Drive the team to identify compliance issues and put forward their recommendations with our Group values and courage integrity.
  • Ensure a supportive and close working relationship with branch management and other stakeholders
  • Support the diversity and inclusive direction of Group.
  • Drive the team to consistently go after process streamlining with objectives of making things simpler, better and faster.
  • Support of all transformation initiatives and ensure work efficiency.
  • Contribute to ensure related control measures and control monitoring processes are well put in place with on the ground team members have a line of sight on related details.

  • University graduate preferably with a business degree or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in managing large scale projects and good understanding on branch level financial crime compliance
  • Years of relevant experiences in retail banking executive positions with experiences in middle management level
  • A strong leader with excellent planning and organising capability, very good problem solving and people management skill
  • Able to drive results and work very independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skill and able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English
