We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Analyst.

Principal responsibilities

  • Analysis and creation of business requirements and user stories for the creation of an effective, capable and suitable processing platform
  • Working in close collaboration with IT in an agile pod team environment
  • Liaising with product managers to define the future strategy of target product services
  • Delivering training to business users and assisting with the creation of business procedures
  • Execute Functional testing and support SIT and UAT
  • Communicating and reporting effectively with all stakeholders, users and team members, providing regular reassurance regarding progress
  • Agreeing prioritisation of Business Requirements both function and non-functional
  • Applying process knowledge and analytical skills to the resolution and proposal of future state processes
  • Creating test and migration plans as well as orchestrating and executing these plans in conjunction with IT and users
  • Undertake business analyst tasks as part of the project lifecycle including the development of process maps, business requirement documents, functional specifications, test and business migration plans
  • Ownership for the creation and maintenance of overall current state and future state process flows and operating models
  • Adhere to Best Practice project principles in line with Business Transformation Framework
  • Undertake implementation forward planning in association with business users, project manager and IT
  • Proactive engagement in the development and execution of detailed delivery plans produced
  • Deliver and agree with business stakeholders the design of new processes and rules and make optimal use of the technology being used

  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple work streams within a complex project environment
  • Ability to lead project resources across the business to meet deadlines and drive solutions.
  • Experience of Treasury Services with an in-depth knowledge of how cash and payments transactions are processed within the Securities Services business
  • Good knowledge of web portal design and development principles with a focus on client experience
  • Good relationship management skills and able to engage with and gain confidence of others and maximise their contribution to the process
  • Delivering on one major system implementation of the target software solution or similar software solution
  • Recognised project qualification such as Prince II Practitioner, Diploma in Business Analysis or similar qualification
  • Strong product awareness of the Securities Services industry, especially Global and Sub Custody and Fund Administration.
  • Knowledge, experience and willingness to continuously learn, agile frameworks and lean software working practices
  • Must have a good understanding of the Subject Matter relating to eCommerce solutions
  • Must be able to work effectively with senior business and IT stakeholders across the division
  • Strong problem solving skills and able to perform under pressure
