We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Manager, Sales Collaboration Development, Asia Pacific .

Principal responsibilities

  • Contribute to HSBC revenues as a result of better coordination and the execution of specific initiatives
  • Assist top management in having a timely and comprehensive view on the total relationship with the Big Tech groups to avoid conflict of interest
  • Proactively monitor market environment and technology trends to provide relevant updates to department head
  • Work with the department head to interpret the requirements of the regional executives and translate into actionable tasks for working parties
  • Execute good project planning in terms of events, estimate of timing and communications, and anticipate risks of delays and errors by dependent stakeholders
  • Develop a trusted network of contacts in the region to ensure efficient and effective cooperation


Qualifications
Requirements

  • A strong track record experience across banking, consulting or management - preferably in a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in a global bank working in business development, client planning or marketing
  • Work experience and sound knowledge in IT technology related to Big Tech groups such as Internet of Things, Cloud, Big Data, Analytics, online and offline business models
  • Degree in Science or Engineering with post-graduate qualifications or experience in business management or finance preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in working with senior executives or external corporate clients, familiarity with operating in a complex matrix management structure such as HSBC would be a definite advantage
  • Knowledge of Putonghou and written Chinese language preferred
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Self-starter, with demonstrated ability to master a steep learning curve and multi-tasking under pressure
  • Competency in financial or business industry analyses as well as proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
